New Year, new blog. We'll see where this goes
It was 55 degrees today. FIFTY FIVE! I didn't even have to wear a coat! Of course it was a perfect day for outlet shopping so my mom and I hopped in the mini coop (almost put the top down) and headed out to the Jcrew Outlet in Riverhead. They were basically cleaned out but I still got some pretty good finds (everything was like 30%, 40% and 75% off):
I was SO excited to get those shorts because Ive been drooling over them for like years.
So after a day at the outlets, I decided to take it easy at home for new years eve. I made this awesome recipe using the dungeness crab from the company my mom works for, Wild Planet. It was a simple lemon pasta recipe (were on like lemon overload at my house right now) that I loosely followed. You can find here. It was delicious!
Right now I only have one new years resolution:
Dress better. I haven't been dressing as well as I should up at school due to my busy schedule but Ive slowly been learning. Piperlime said it best:
I know it's kind of a joke but they have a good point. I've edited it to my lifesyle: Every time you leave the house you should think you can bump into someone you hated from highschool, your future husband or your future boss. Looking put together shows you have your shit on lock. Why would you dress to impress for an interview only? What if your interview is on the spot when you happen to get into a conversation on the train or in an elevator (it could happen!)?
It's 2:50 a.m., Im going to bed. Happy new year! This holiday is kind of stupid.
